We are proud to be one of many San Antonio Restaurants that are on display showcasing the finest Alamo City Cuisine. We will be offering a special three-course prix-fixe menu for lunch and dinner! 

Menu

   Starter:

                                    Baked Black Bean Tostada                                      w/Cabbage, Escabeche, Pico, Avocado Crema & Cilantro

Lunch/Dinner: 

                               Chile Relleno ~ Vegan or Beef                                              Stuffed Poblano Pepper  topped w/ house made Adobo                                       Sauce & Sesame Seeds                                                               Served w/ Arroz Blanco & Black Beans

Dessert:

Mini Vegan Churros w/ Mexican Hot Chocolate Sauce & Pepitas

Ashtanga Yoga Basics Workshop

Saturday January 27th, 2018 1-3pm

Learn the basics of Ashtanga Yoga in this 2 hour workshop with V!  Gain a deeper understanding of the Ashtanga method if you're familiar with the practice and for those new to it, let me introduce you to the basics to prepare you to try a class!  All levels welcome and no Ashtanga experience necessary.  Some yoga experience recommended.

Cost: $35

Meet the Instructor: Vernette Ayers

V is passionate about health and healing with love and compassion.  Guiding and nurturing others through yoga builds upon that as she loves to help her students discover their inner and outer strength at all levels.  In V's classes students learn to develop a practice that best fits them and they are challenged to explore their own hidden ability and potential.  V has multiple certifications in yoga with her classes ranging from Beginner Workshops to Mixed-Level Vinyasa to Ashtanga Led Primary.  She believes that continuous development as a dedicated and humble student only strengthens us as teachers and she will continue to explore the many paths in yoga of strength, health and healing in order to share it with others.

Beginner Yoga Workshop

Saturday January 27th, 2018 1-3pm

This class is designed as an introduction to the practice of yoga.. Class is slower paced than an all-levels class, and focused on developing clear and safe alignment in foundational poses. You will learn some of the history of yoga, and the physical and emotional benefits of creating a regular practice. Come to learn, play, and maybe even break a sweat in a supportive environment. You don’t need to be able to touch your toes, you just have to be willing to try.
You will learn the most commonly used poses that are safe and accessible for the beginning student as well as basic yoga breathing techniques, and a simple meditation practice.
Cost: $25

SAME ASANA NEW TWIST

Sunday January 28th 1-3pm

It can be easy to do the same sequence over and over again in yoga, and repeat postures that feel familiar and satisfying. Yet, our body thrives on variation, new challenges, and new ways of approaching similar movements. This workshop will offer new opportunities to introduce new movements into your yoga practice, strengthening the body, decreasing chance of injury, and improving proprioception.
